Our Leadership Team

Barry Sylvester established Sylvester Construction Services, Inc. with a commitment to build custom homes and renovations that combine highest quality and owner enjoyment, and highest long-term value. Barry holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Building Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. He has been in the construction industry for 25+ years and has extensive trade experience in mechanical, carpentry and structural construction.

Richard's 30+ years’ experience in high-end construction and focus on detail have made him an invaluable member of the team. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Rich worked as an architect for 9 years before changing paths to begin working in construction. Richs’ resume includes Project Architect for a 30-story high-rise, as well as work for leading banks and office towers, and residential work. His building experience is broad, and includes work with sustainable low-income housing as well as some of the most exclusive homes in the Chicagoland area.

Jeanine worked as an independent consultant specializing in process management and database administration. She was impressed by the organization’s integrity, and commitment to making client satisfaction its number one priority, and joined the company as office manager later that year. Jeanine applies her knowledge as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is able to use her skill base as a former senior accountant for one of the top accounting firms. Her responsibilities at SCSI include project accounting, process management and human resources.
